Job Description: Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee transactions and ensure the quality control of Central Bank of Ireland online submissions. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in carrying out quarterly and annual reconciliations, preparing quarterly reports for policies issued, and reconciling budgets. Additionally, you will supervise an accounting staff member, providing training in essential finance functions, and maintain regular communication with our U.S. Finance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor the quality control of Central Bank of Ireland online submissions
  • Conduct quarterly and annual reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Prepare quarterly reports for policies issued, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making
  • Reconcile budgets and track financial performance against targets
  • Supervise an accounting staff member, providing guidance, support, and training in essential finance functions
  • Liaise regularly with the U.S. Finance team to ensure alignment and collaboration on key initiatives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Accounting qualification and minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, insurance, or related highly-regulated field
  • Supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
